New features on Photobucket today!
Lots of new stuff to play with on Photobucket today. All these features are ones you've asked for ... so keep those requests coming!
Public / Private Settings in Albums
|
You can now specify which photo and video albums in your account to make publicly available, and which to remain password protected; You can give others access to private albums using a “guest” password that you select.
Photobucket albums can contain thousands of images and hours of video for free. A simple “link” to any piece of media in an album lets you share your photos and videos without sending huge files over email. Try out public/private settings today. Click here for a detailed tutorial.
Note: Our Photobucket Pro users only get to see the new public/private settings. Click here to learn more about our Pro upgrades. You'll get additional features with the Pro upgrade, and first look at new features on Photobucket.
Bulk Photo Uploader
|
Lets you upload up to 100 images at a time to your album. That's it! What could be better? Click here for a detailed tutorial, or click here to get into your album and try it out. We find that when you want to upload just one or two images, we use the "old" way, but when we've been to an event and we've got a whole bunch to get into our Buckets, we use the bulk uploader. |

Redesigned Home page: let us show you off!
Nice new look Home page today too. Photobucket’s new home page has been redesigned to feature lots of user stuff.
If you think you have a pretty super cool album of work to feature, tell us. We want to feature YOU.
Been wondering what happened to the OLD bulk uploader. I find it very cumbersome to have to individually click on each picture to add it to the upload when you used to be able to simply drag and drop your pictures into the bulk loader. Any thoughts on that?

I love this new public/private feature. I have been asking this for a while now.
However i was wondering if there would be a way that i can make my main (root) album public but then somehow set all other except maybe one to private? I have 137 albums so after setting 15 back to private I decided this would take too long.
Thanks Photobucket Team!!
